Custom Editorial
My custom editorial reaches owners of top luxury and performance car brands. I write the content for Ferrari North America’s monthly e-newsletter (left), interviewing Ferrari owners, dealers and racers, as well as researching topics and photos. I also write feature stories for clients who secure placements in custom publications, such as programs for The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering (below, left) and the Amelia Island Concours d’ Elegance (below, right). Dealer E-Newsletter Features
Each month, my custom editorial reaches tens of thousands of car buyers through the dealer e-newsletters produced by IMN (I Make News). The client relies on my creative input for each feature. For example, I've been writing all the MINI features since early 2010. I believe there’s a difference between high-quality custom editorial and "advertorial." The e-newsletter readers know the work is paid for by the brand sending it, but they don't want their time wasted with hype. Below are a few examples. (The first four are web links and others will download PDF files.) I have written more than 350 of these features.

Ghostwriting
Do you have an opportunity to place a by-lined column in a magazine? When the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center general manager got that chance, he called me. I wrote his column in the Mercedes-Benz publication, The Star, for about two years. Here are a few samples.

When Steve Goldberg, the top salesman at one of the country's top-three Infiniti dealers, wanted to boost his customer relationship-building efforts, he called me to develop and produce a quarterly print newsletter. I also branded Steve the "Gourmet Driver," because he's quite the foodie. I will next move him to an e-newsletter.

Special Event Displays
For new-model introductions or heritage displays, I can write the succinct text needed to convey your brand messages. Ferrari called me when it needed display text for a classic convertible showcase at a New York polo match featuring Prince Harry of Wales. Left and below, samples from that event:
